Terms of Service
These are the rules for using EarnedEcho. By running a report or connecting your invoices, you agree to them.
Read this part if you read nothing else
We cannot and do not guarantee rankings. The report tells you what we measured on a given day — it is not a prediction and not a diagnosis of cause. And we will never offer your customers anything in exchange for a review, or filter out the unhappy ones before they reach Google.
01 What the report is
The report is a dated snapshot of publicly observable results: where the business appeared on a small, disclosed grid of Google Maps test points, where its website appeared for one search query, whether AI assistants named it across nine fixed tests, and how its review record compares with a disclosed set of nearby businesses.
Every one of those measurements varies by location, time, device, and context. A different run on a different day can produce a different result, and that is a property of the systems being measured, not a fault in the report.
02 What the report is not
- It is not a Google score and has no official standing with Google.
- It is not a causal analysis. Observed differences are not proven causes of ranking.
- It is not a forecast of rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue.
- The Echo Score is our own diagnostic index. Its weights are unvalidated internal heuristics.
Google says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance, and prominence. EarnedEcho cannot control all of these factors and does not guarantee rankings.
03 Review collection — how it behaves
If you subscribe, you add our address to the BCC line of your invoice emails. When an invoice arrives we schedule one review request to that customer.
- You get 24 hours to cancel before the first request is sent. Every scheduled request shows the customer, the invoice, the send time, and a Cancel button.
- One follow-up, three days later — and only if the customer did not click, unsubscribe, bounce, or already get cancelled.
- One sequence per customer. A manual restart is blocked for 90 days.
- A click on the review link stops everything for that customer, permanently.
- Invoice numbers are de-duplicated forever, so a re-sent invoice never triggers a second ask.
If you sometimes email an invoice before the job is finished — deposits, progress billing, materials — tell us during setup and nothing will send until you confirm the work is complete.
04 What we will never do
- Offer, imply, or permit any incentive in exchange for a review.
- Screen customers by expected sentiment before asking. That is review gating and we will not build it.
- Write, edit, or post reviews. Requests link the customer straight to Google.
- Contact your customers about anything other than the single request you triggered.
Offering compensation for reviews can carry substantial penalties under US law and violates Google's policies. If you ask us to do it, we will decline and close the account.
05 What you are responsible for
- You own the business, or you are authorised to act for it.
- The customers you invoice are real customers who received real work from you.
- You have a lawful basis to contact them, and you will honour their choices.
- You review scheduled requests when you bill before completion.
06 Price
EarnedEcho is in private testing. It is not generally available and no one is being charged. The report shown on this site uses sample data.
The list price is $29 per month. The first 20 businesses pay $19 per month, and that $19 is held for as long as the account stays open. It is a discount tied to an active account, not a lifetime licence: if the account closes, the discount ends. The free report stays free, and you keep it whether or not you ever subscribe.
07 Third parties
The report relies on data from Google and other public sources, and on answers returned by third-party AI assistants. Those services change without notice, and their terms govern their own data. If a source becomes unavailable, we mark the check Incomplete rather than guessing.
08 Stopping
Remove our address from your invoice BCC line and nothing further reaches us. Email us and we will close the account and delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account being used to solicit incentivised reviews, to contact people who are not genuine customers, or to attack the service. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.
09 Availability
During private testing the service is provided as it is, with no uptime guarantee. It may be interrupted, changed, or taken down without notice.
10 Liability
To the extent the law allows, EarnedEcho is not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profit, lost custom, or reputational harm — arising from use of the service or from decisions made on the basis of a report. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
11 Changes to these terms
We will update this page and change the date at the top. For material changes we will email active accounts before they take effect.
12 Who you are contracting with, and which law applies
EarnedEcho is operated by EastLight Labs (이스트라이트랩스), a company registered in the Republic of Korea. These terms are an agreement between you and EastLight Labs, and they are governed by Korean law. If you use the service as a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove protections your local law gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement.
